Student creativity, research rewarded during National History Day

Among the winners at this week's National History Day competition were two North Carolina brothers, who spent a year producing a 10-minute documentary film called, "Hydroelectric Carolinas: How a visionary idea and a chance partnership transformed the Carolinas forever." Out of 600,000 entrants, about 3,000 students advanced to the national competition.
