Businesses in Lawrence, Kan., are learning how to promote employee wellness from the WorkWellKS program, sponsored by the Kansas Health Foundation and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. The program uses a three-prong model that addresses physical activity, access to healthy foods and tobacco use, which all contribute to chronic disease.
