"True Blood" season premiere lures 5.1 million viewers to HBO

The Season 3 premiere of "True Blood" proved to be a true winner for HBO as the vampire drama drew 5.1 million viewers Sunday. The episode scored 38% more viewers than the Season 2 premiere, according to Nielsen live-plus-same-day data. Vampires owned the night as the 11 p.m. encore presentation sucked in an additional 1.29 million viewers.
