Arbitron: U.S. radio audience up 1.9 million at 93.1%

The number of U.S. radio listeners who tune in at least once a week grew by 1.9 million over the past year, according to new figures from Arbitron, which measured audiences age 12 and up. The biggest growth came in the 18-34 demographic, with a gain of 350,000 listeners. In all, 93.1% of Americans over 12 are tuning in to radio.
