Swallowing problems can lead to erosive esophagitis diagnosis

Acute problems swallowing can mean more than just minor heartburn, says Florida physician Dr. Andy Oakes-Lottridge, who recalled a patient who presented at the hospital emergency department with severe erosive medications esophagitis. People can develop the condition if they have long-term heartburn problems that are made worse by medications.
