Calif. hospital switches to fully automated EMR system

Mills Peninsula, a hospital under the Sutter Health system in California, switched to digital medical records in April, joining the elite 2% of U.S. hospitals that have gone fully electronic. The facility undertook measures to ensure that the transition did not cause interruptions to inpatient care, said IT Director Michael Riadno.
