Report predicts slow growth in ad market

A forecast from PriceWaterhouseCoopers predicts annual 2.7% growth in entertainment and media spending between now and 2013, with total expenditures reaching $1.6 trillion in 2013. According to the "Global Entertainment and Media Outlook: 2009-2013," released today, most of the growth will occur in digital media. Online and mobile expenditures are expected to grow 12.2% annually, reaching $387 billion globally by 2013. Traditional media will see 1.2% annual average growth, per the report.
