Orders flood in for iPhone 4, putting strain on website

Strong demand for the new iPhone 4 has created quick online sellouts on pre-orders ahead of the June 24 retail launch in the U.S. and U.K. The high volume may also have taken a toll on AT&T's website, which reportedly had problems processing some orders. An AT&T spokesman said the carrier was "looking into the issue" of whether the site inadvertently exposed some shoppers' personal data to other users.
