The Groove playlist-generating music application is ripping up charts in 30 countries and has landed at number one in Canada, where it originates. The app organizes a user's owned music into lists that can be shared with others for activities such as party planning. "[T]he app has amassed over one million downloads in the App Store over the past two years, but now it's growing at a much faster rate. Free is the draw, and seems to be the difference between limping along and really spiking," Darrell Etherington writes.
