RM offers low-cost Asus "minibooks" for U.K. schools

RM has introduced a Windows XP-based Asus miniBook laptop aimed at the education market that it has released in the U.K. for about $440, the company said. Based on the popular Asus Eee 900 model, at this price point, the notebooks come equipped with 12GB of storage, 1GB of memory and a webcam; a 8.9-inch screen is available for an additional $115.
