Michigan system creates a physician ACO to boost efficiency

Michigan's Henry Ford Health System hopes 2,000 physicians will join its new Henry Ford Physician Network, which is designed to better coordinate care and reduce inefficiencies and waste. The network will be a nonprofit accountable care organization that officials say will help align care between salaried and independent physicians.
