Luken Communications buys TV translators in expansion move

Luken Communications, parent of RTN, has bought the first 78 of a planned 400 TV translators and low-power stations. The moves are designed to provide ample bandwidth for Luken's 10 multicasting networks, which will be targeting small and medium-sized markets with a strategy of providing enough over-the-air content that cable companies will elect to pick up the signals.
