Be sure your job-related physical tests are legal

Employers that require physical tests after offering a job must ensure these tests are not in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and guidelines from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, experts say. Examinations should be limited to determining whether the employee can safely complete documented minimum physical requirements for the position.
