BlackBerry said to be ensnared in spying controversy

Britain's GCHQ intelligence agency was able to penetrate BlackBerry's security to eavesdrop on phone calls and e-mails at Group of 20 summit meetings in 2009, according to documents leaked to the Guardian newspaper. In response BlackBerry said, “We remain 100 percent confident in the superiority of BlackBerry mobile security." There is no evidence BlackBerry had any knowledge of the supposed leaks.
