Brokerages look to boost loyalty with financial plans

Some big brokerage firms are offering financial incentives to advisers who draw up financial plans for clients. UBS Wealth Management Americas, for example, is offering advisers 50% of the financial-plan charge plus a 15% credit to their expense account. The motivation is a perceived increase in loyalty among customers who have a financial plan.
