More Taliban attacks are likely in Afghanistan, NATO deputy commander says

Foreigners in Afghanistan should be prepared for the possibility of additional Taliban attacks after high-profile assaults on workers with international aid organizations, says Lt. Gen. Nick Carter, deputy commander of NATO's International Security Assistance Force. Carter says increased attacks could be part of an attempt by the Taliban to accelerate the withdrawal of international forces and paint the departure as a victory.
