New Department of Energy chief renews focus on cybersecurity

The Secretary of Energy is gathering representatives of several agency departments to create a new council with the goal of improving grid security. Ernest Moniz, who is three weeks into his tenure at the Department of Energy, told the House Energy and Commerce Committee last week that his new cybersecurity council is one of several he has created to "provide enterprise-wide advice and analysis" on a range of issues.
