Texas universities cooperate to launch online language offerings

Two Texas universities are pooling their technology and faculty resources to offer new online language programs in Portuguese, Russian and Japanese. University administrators say Portuguese is of particular importance because Brazil has become a significant trading partner. Future program offerings will include Arabic, Chinese and Korean.
