Students in the Geometry in Construction class at Kelso High School in Washington state recently unveiled their first project -- a model home. The class gave students an opportunity to apply trigonometry and geometry to hands-on projects. "This class was a great experience," sophomore Dionna Aguas said. "Meeting new people and applying math to the real world was the best part," she added.
