Military aims to further study of brain injury with repository

The U.S. military has established the Center for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine Brain Tissue Repository for Traumatic Brain Injury, which is being called the first repository of brain tissue in the world focused on advancing traumatic brain injury research. The center aims to collect several hundred samples from deceased service members, with permission from their families. It is located at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md.
