OTC derivatives reporting rules present challenges in China

Keith Noyes, Asia-Pacific regional director for ISDA, explains how reporting rules for over-the-counter derivatives are creating issues for U.S. swap dealers in China. The rules are clashing with China's privacy laws, prompting some U.S. swap dealers to stop trading of OTC derivatives with one another, he said.
