Special operations forces will open to women

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel announced approval of the Pentagon's plans for introducing women into combat operations across the four U.S. military branches, including placement opportunities within special operations units. The plan will open up training for women as Army Rangers by mid-2015, with Navy SEALs possibly starting training for qualified women by March 2016.
