Community Tissue Services of Dayton, Ohio, will use U.K.-based Tissue Regenix's cell-removal technology to produce decellularized skin, which either company may then distribute in the U.S. The tissue will be used for wound care and burn products, among other uses. The technology allows Tissue Regenix to remove cells from animal tissue, creating a matrix for the patient's own cells to grow without rejecting the tissue.
