Artists embrace social-media feedback

Gone are the days when artists hid their work until it was ready for exhibition. Pop artist Coop is among a growing number who share their work in progress online and seek feedback. Similarly, writer John August has his Twitter followers comment on his short stories. He changed the title of one story based on those suggestions. "Twitter is sort of like my mom reading my dot-matrix printouts," he said.
