Founder and public face of Men's Wearhouse is fired

Men's Wearhouse founder and chairman George Zimmer has been fired by the company, with no reason given. Zimmer started the clothing chain from a single store in Houston, and in more than two decades of television ads, delivered the tagline "You're going to like the way you look. I guarantee it." In an interview, Zimmer said he had recently criticized the direction of the company, adding that the company's board has "chosen to silence my concerns through termination as an executive officer."
