Mindfulness program can curb students' stress

Participation in a mindfulness program helped lower children and teens' stress levels and depressive symptoms, particularly during the exam season, according to a U.K. study in The British Journal of Psychiatry. Researchers also noted improvements in well-being of students who participated in the program.
