Nurse-led screening shows promise for managing arthritis

Nurse-led interventions aimed at detecting comorbidities and promoting self-assessment skills were associated with better outcomes for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, French researchers found. "Screening by nurses is feasible, and our results show it is valuable," study author Laure Gossec said at the European League Against Rheumatism Congress.
