Sen. Boxer reportedly questions Lautenberg's capacity to approve TSCA bill

Senate Democrats are meeting today to determine whether the bipartisan Lautenberg-Vitter bill to reform the Toxic Substances Control Act is strong enough for passage. The meeting comes as Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., is questioning the late Sen. Frank Lautenberg's capacity to agree to the final proposal during his last days. Meanwhile, Lautenberg's wife has contacted Boxer to defend the legislation.
