Sharing glucose data with providers tied to lower HbA1c

An analysis presented at The Endocrine Society meeting showed that while only 30% of diabetes patients bring their blood glucose monitors during clinical visits, Medicaid and Medicare patients with uncontrolled diabetes who did so attained significant improvements in HbA1C compared with those who left their monitors at home.
