Survey: Capital management, regulations are insurance companies' biggest concerns

Most insurers said they consider challenges in capital management and shifts in regulations to be major concerns, but have prepared to address these issues, according to a survey by Towers Watson and the International Insurance Society. "Over the longer term, other issues -- demographic aging trends, 'big data,' social media, and attracting and retaining talent were not subject to the same level of preparation (29%, 32% and 33%, respectively)," Towers Watson said.
