Civil-rights groups call for high-school reform

Civil rights organizations are uniting to ask Congress to put high school reform at the top of its NCLB priority list. The coalition is asking for more rigorous core subjects and requiring schools to publicize course-taking patterns by income, race and ethnicity in an effort to help more minority students graduate.
