Bernanke is encouraged by SEC's money-fund proposal

A Securities and Exchange Commission proposal that would force riskier money funds to move to a floating net asset value was met positively by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. "We have not yet reviewed this in enough detail to give a view but I know for sure that by putting out a floating NAV proposal that they're moving in the right direction," Bernanke said.
