Cable customers join the fray against channel bundling

Cable television's bundling of channels is facing a new challenge from a different angle in the form of a class-action lawsuit filed by four subscribers. The suit takes issue with Time Warner Cable's $11 billion in rights deals with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Lakers, contending that customers will ultimately be burdened with the cost and be left with no alternative.
