CME stock surge reflects bond market uncertainty, analysts say

A 55% rise in the price of CME stock this year is a reflection of uncertainty in the bond market leading to increased volumes in CME's derivative markets, according to some analysts. "The actual movement of U.S. interest rates does not have to occur for CME's revenues to increase," said Brad Hintz, an analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein.
