Fortified cranberry juice improves heart health, study finds

Drinking a serving of cranberry juice fortified with folic acid increases the body's ability to regulate insulin and reduces the secretion of hormones linked to cardiovascular disease, according to new research from Brazil. Results also showed that participants with metabolic syndrome experienced reduced levels of oxidative stress after drinking the fortified juice.
