IEA sees surge in U.S. gas production from 2014 through 2018

Expanded infrastructure and higher prices will lead to a surge in U.S. natural gas production from 2014 through 2018, the International Energy Agency said. Gas production will reach more than 28 trillion cubic feet by 2018, the agency said. "As in the five previous years, shale gas continues to be the key driver behind this growth," IEA added.
