Iowa firms join study to assess employee wellness programs

Three Iowa manufacturing companies are part of a six-month Iowa State University study to assess the impact of employee wellness programs on health and health care costs. Sixty employees from Timberline Manufacturing, Graphic Edge and Rosenboom Machine & Tool will split into two groups to compare a health risk assessment with a program that includes nutrition, exercise, stress reduction and finances.
