Ireland is heading toward rescue exit, IMF says

Ireland is likely to exit its rescue programme this year if it continues on course, the International Monetary Fund says. "The policy programme of Ireland is sound and adjustment is being delivered, providing reasonably strong prospects for programme success," the IMF said. The fund also recognises that Ireland is beginning to suffer from "adjustment fatigue" because of the lengthy process.
