Plastic prompts recall of machine-separated chicken from Tip Top Poultry

The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Wednesday that Tip Top Poultry is recalling about 18,000 pounds of roasted chicken that were separated mechanically because they may include plastic pieces. The recalled product carries the establishment number P-17453, the case code 55252, and was packaged on April 29.
