Report: New Zealand growers explore new Asian markets

Growers in New Zealand are developing sweeter apples and other fruits aimed at appealing to the palates of Asian consumers. The moves are likely to pay off as the country moves away from exporting to North America and Europe and becomes a major fruit supplier to Asia, according to a report from New Zealand's Economic Development Ministry.
