Study links depression, antidepressants to diabetes risk

Researchers found depression and antidepressant use were associated with higher BMI and larger waistlines in postmenopausal women. Researchers also observed a link between increased insulin levels and insulin resistance measures and depressive symptoms. The findings were published in the American Journal of Public Health.
