DOT awards Brazil route rights to AA, Delta and US Airways

The Department of Transportation announced a proposal to add carrier rights from the four U.S. cities of Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit and Charlotte, N.C., to Sao Paulo, Brazil. Route rights to American Airlines and Delta Air Lines will begin this year, while Delta and US Airways will receive new rights in 2014.
