Researchers find way to predict platelet response during heart attack

U.S. researchers have developed a technique called Pair wise Agonist Scanning to predict how blood platelets react to conditions during a heart attack or stroke. "With this information we can identify patients at risk of thrombosis or improve upon current forms of anti-platelet therapies," a researcher said.
