An alternative to Twitter for teachers

Middle-school teacher Heather Wolpert-Gawron says she has found a better alternative to Twitter that allows students to ask questions and share information online during lessons. In this blog post, Wolpert-Gawron writes that TodaysMeet creates a type of chat room in which the chats can be viewed by specific people and for a specific time. However, she cautions teachers to set standards for the use of the chat rooms to ensure appropriate use.
