Tech companies make PC-like push for mobile security

Companies that sell security software for cell phones want to convince consumers that the threats from malware, Trojan horses and viruses are no less real on their portable devices as they are on PCs. The companies are eyeing a market that researcher IDC predicts will reach almost $1 billion by 2011, up from $214 million in 2006.
