Auto insurance requirements would rise under Wisconsin bill

Wisconsin Insurance Alliance President Andy Franken says the state Legislature should rethink a proposed measure that would raise auto insurance requirements, a move supported by other insurance trade groups on the grounds that it could lead to higher premiums for some drivers. PCI says the highest percentage increases would hit low- and middle- income drivers, with 20% to 25% of drivers statewide being adversely affected.
