Air Force cadets live with German families in exchange program

The U.S. Air Force has started a program that immerses cadets in the daily life of local municipalities in Kaiserslautern, Germany, which boasts the largest overseas U.S. military community. Cadets study German in the morning in a formal classroom setting and then spend the rest of the day exploring the country and integrating themselves into the local population.
