Microsoft is introducing a panoramic advertising format that stitches together 15 still images to create a 180-degree view of a stop-motion video. Consumers can interact with the ads by tapping on them. The format, called Ad Pano, "gives advertisers unlimited storytelling potential to customize their ad experience to deliver an interactive, immersive, panoramic ad experience comparable to a magazine fold-out," said Microsoft's general manager for display advertising experiences, Jennifer Creegan.
