Study: Urban youths have inaccurate body-weight perception

Almost 40% of urban adolescents are overweight or obese, a Chicago study of largely African-American students found. Of 448 students in grades 5 to 8, about 31% of the overweight girls identified their weight as normal or underweight and almost two-thirds of the overweight boys listed their weight as normal or underweight.
