Improving process within a company doesn't have to be painful, instead it can be organic, writes Matthew Heusser. Management-by-walking around may be the best way to improve process, he argues. Employees may agree to one process in a meeting, but by walking around, you may overhear how they really feel when they're chatting in the bathroom. Heusser also recommends asking one simple question: what's the single biggest thing we can change right now to have a positive impact?
